To truly prepare for an ultra, you need time on the actual terrain you will race on. Because of the unpredictable nature of mountainous sports, weather conditions can shift instantly - we can easily experience heavy rain in summer or scorching heat waves in the middle of winter.

To ensure you are ready for anything, our recce runs throughout the year as a structured build-up to race day. These sessions are designed to help you test your gear, perfect your nutrition, and know exactly what to expect from the route.
