ABOUT P2P HUNDRED

The P2P Hundred begins in the dark with the Groenberg Traverse - the goal is simple: summit before sunrise. A fast descent into the Bainskloof Valley brings you to your first crewing point at Welvanpas Aid Station.

Next comes Geelbekskop, better known to locals as Cliffhanger, in reverse. The reward? Sweeping 360-degree views, including Table Mountain on a clear day.

From there, the trail flows across the slopes of the Hawequa Mountains, passing the Scouts Hut before a technical descent toward Brooklyn Bridge and a crossing over the Spruit River.

Du Toitskloof Aid Station marks a key refuel stop and the second crewing point. From there, you’ll pass Kromriver Hut and take on the steep challenge of Krom River Dome - a defining moment in the race.

The descent toward Bainskloof Pass is long, rocky, and relentless. At Bainskloof Aid Station - your 2nd last crewing point - you’ll catch your breath before one last test: a brutal 10 km stretch on the rugged Old Limietberg Trail, ending at Tweede Tol.

After that, a welcome tar road along the iconic Witte River leads to one last drop - the historic Old Wagon Trail towards the finish line.
